McDonalds

Today (this was on Dec. 26) I went to McDonalds with my sister's best friend. I have not been to McDonalds in the last 2 years for sure. So, today we were looking for an air mattress, walked to the store, could not find it (apparently, it's out of season to buy such thing), on the way home on this cold winter day Vitya and I decided that we are going to grab something to eat from McDonalds. It was my first visit to Russian McDonalds, well, I was not too impressed, although I am not too impressed with American McDonald's either. We stood in line for quite a long time, at least 15 minutes, ordered our food, and then it was a challenge to find a place to sit. I haven't had McDonalds in such a long time that I thought I would really enjoy the taste. Well, I was disappointed. I did not like the taste all that much of my burger. Yes, it's very similar to the ones in the states, I guess I just grew accustomed to non-greasy meats.

Matt would not be proud of me that I went to McDonalds, but oh well, I am not too proud of myself either. It was an experience not worthy of experiencing, but nevertheless it happened. I think it's going to be another 2 years before I crave McDonalds, hopefully longer than that. So that was one interesting moment of my day today. Well, I better go get some groceries. My sister and I are leaving to go to London tomorrow, but we are having a couple friends of our staying at our department for New Years, and we figured they would like some food. Since my sister does not like eating much and buying food, I am in charge of getting some food for them to eat :) So, Vitya (our family friend, really like a brother to us at this point) and I are going to a grocery store for some groceries.
